I bought the version with the suction cup mount and I’m very happy with it. It holds my phone securely in place and doesn’t move around while driving. It’s also very easy to place the phone in the holder and remove it when needed. I wanted to add to my original review 6 months ago This little mount has stayed on my Model X for 6 months now and it works GREAT! Very sturdy and the magnet locks on immediately every time I drive. it's handy on the top left of my screen for a WAZE map to be alerted for those issues on the road whenever I'm on a long drive. I'm really happy with it and I bought another one for my coworker's birthday. Uploading another video. I would highly recommend. ------- This mount for my Tesla is exactly what i needed for my road trip. I really don't need it to wireless charge as cable are faster anyway. Pros: - Very easy to install. doesn't test my IQ with all the unnecessary instructions. - NO NEED for 3M stickie adhesive on my car. I just simply don't want this in my car! Bad experience in the past and I'll return anything that needs to uses a 3M adhesive. - Very strong magnet grip. Bought it right before my 10 hour road trip, no issues at all. - connects to the top 2 angles on my model X, I will likely buy another mount for the passenger seat. It will also work with the bottom angle when I tilt the screen out. - And it seem to be able to bypass the Tesla cabin camera during AP/FSD. Down sides: - it would be great if it can also charge- however i would not want a cable dangling to the 12v port./ - price is a bit on the high side
