GARBUTT #1 May 1977'London Transport Diagram of lines Number 1 1977' (12. 76 3239M 1,000,000) This edition of the Underground map designed by Paul E Garbutt has a notice about Barbican station being open experimentally on Saturdays "at the time of printing (May 1977)". The extension to Heathrow Central is shown as being under construction, opening late 1977. This is the second printing of the map entitled "No. 1 1977"; the notice differentiates it from the first.
