GAIN controls the amount of gain from the first stage, TONE controls the amount of treble in the output, and VOLUME adjusts the overall volume out of the pedal. This starter shape already mimics the original, meaning it should fit, and that it did! Installation was easy after removing the battery tray to get to it. Then remove the bolts from the starter and the connection then install and it took about 35 minutes to get it installed. We cracked it up and it started on the first start. Fit and functional is where the largest points are, and these are what makes this a good reliable starter. For the price it’s a great alternative to the dealer parts. So far the car is starting with no problems or issues.its construction is made of durable metal as it endures heat and cold cycles and to withstand rust and corrosion. It’s in par with the OEM and about the same weight.
