The Mk. 2 seats had originally a sprung system on the squab area whereas previous seats had just rubber straps. The only way to tell from the outside of the seat is to measure the distance from the top of the face flutes, over the top of the seat to the stitch line on the rear of the cover. This measurement

It’s not quite hypoallergenic
It has a fragrance. And the one from Avene that can be used post procedure does not have a fragrance. So I find the fragrance irritates my skin. I bought this for the winter. But I can’t use it because it causes contact dermatitis for me.
