The band reads: Richd Gosse OB 21 June 1770 AET 67 UK ring size L 1 2 USA ring size 5 7 8 Amethyst is 11mm across. Nice overall condition. The enamel and gold lettering on the band is slightly worn in places. In my opinion the amethyst is a replacement stone. Gold untested but likely to be 18ct no hallmarks.
