They have a rather nice makers mark that looks sort of like a waffen amt. The maker looks like it says Gevov. Very rare bike accessory. I believe these are intended to pair with a sort of child's seat or light duty rear seat. You wouldn't be putting a full grown man on these.

My 8 year old son really loves this book! This book has been a great incentive for him to pick up and start reading on his own.
